The founders of Erre Quadro began their research in the field of intellectual property in 2002, wondering how large amounts of technical documents could be used, such as patents, to support the innovation process.
In 2008, with the company’s entry into the industrial market, the solutions developed were made available to companies and institutions.
Since then it has always grown, counting among its customers some of the most important Italian companies, collecting continuous acknowledgments and positive feedback, and being able to offer, also thanks to continuous exchange with the academic world, products and services in the field of analysis of the most innovative texts on the market.
Our goal is to support customers in identifying the state of the art of a technology and thus directing research and product development activities; we aim to provide the customer with integrating and patenting their idea.
We want to support companies in the 4.0 upgrade and to obtain an overview of environmental positioning.
We support companies and individuals in everything they need to protect and develop their ideas.
Our efficient research aims to verify if your innovation is counterfeit with an already patented product; we analyze the state of the art of technologies, develop technological mappings, perform foresight analysis and design around activities: all to allow your ideas to become reality.
We provide companies with the means necessary to quantify the level of innovation in structures and personnel, in order to establish how much innovation is present in companies 4.0.
Our analysis and support processes are currently semi-automated. One of our future goals is to push for greater automation of operations that are still manual, achieving totally automatic and high quality processes.
Our software technologies, developed to select, compare and organize the know-how contained in patents, can be applied in different industry sectors.
The research processes we use ensure high precision in patent searches. We translate human intelligence into algorithms, so as to guide Artificial Intelligence towards the client’s goal.
Ours is a highly qualified and multidisciplinary team, being composed of management and mechanical engineers, physicists, mathematicians and computer scientists. The heterogeneity and complementarity of our skills allows us to meet the needs coming from different technological sectors.
We usually collaborate with the University of Pisa and the National Research Council of Pisa.
